Janelle and Sumit's Favorite Children's Books
(send us your own recommendations)

This is a very fun and interactive book involving lots of tickling.  It's especially fun if you also get the Tickle Monster Mitts.

Great for bedtime, this book tells the story of a darling little shrew in his search for peace and quiet.

We love the artwork in this one - the linework for the monster is intricate and lovely; it's a rather cute story to boot.

Sumit remembers this as one of his favorite books from childhood; it's likely what inspired him to start drawing!

Little Toby sees bears everywhere, and the grand finale, a set of 12 glowing lights on the final page, wows the little ones every time.

Maurice Sendak's classic.  In our opinion, it's far better than the recent movie.

This was Sumit's absolute most favorite book as child.  He still remembers the stories he would tell himself about each little character...

Of course our own book is one of our favorites too :) We've tested it on a few of our favorite little ones, and they seem to approve as well.
